Allied Pumps is pleased to take part in an exciting West African project for the supply of Twin 185kW VSD driven, pontoon mounted, vertical turbine pumps, with DN250 headworks, containerised switch room and generators.
The supply of this system was challenging in the respect that Allied Pumps pulled together equipment from manufacturers in all corners of the world, with the generators coming from Europe, the pumps from Eastern Europe, instrumentation from the United States and the control room and bore headworks design, assembled and tested from scratch at Allied Pumps’ Canning Vale facility.
The equipment is being dispatched to a remote mine site in West Africa where it will be installed into a disused mining pit full of water to feed raw water to the mining process.
