Allied Pumps’ coalescing plate separators are available with a moulded polyethylene, fibreglass, or stainless steel chamber. They also include a high-efficiency coalescing plate pack, diaphragm pump options, and automatic controls.
Designed for run-off water containing free oil particles, the system uses enhanced gravity separation to remove oil and fine solids. Its patented plate construction increases separation efficiency compared with conventional gravity-based devices. While the packaged design supports straightforward installation and simple in-house maintenance.
Allied Pumpsโ coalescing plate separator is designed to remove free oil and fine solids from contaminated run-off water using enhanced gravity separation and a high-efficiency coalescing plate pack.
The plate pack can remove oil droplets 20 microns or smaller and reduce effluent free oil content to less than 15 ppm across a wide range of influent conditions.
Typical inclusions are a low-voltage control system, suction strainer, EXN-rated float switches, high-level alarm operation, and an operation, and maintenance manual.
Allied Pumpsโ coalescing plate separators range from 1,500 L/h to 15,000 L/h. Final selection depends on the application and suction conditions.
Options include single- or three-phase pump and controller systems, separator-matched diaphragm pumps, upstream silt traps, and holding sumps.
